I forgot my login password. How do I reset it?

From the Automation Anywhere University login screen, click the "Forgot your password?" link. Enter the email address associated with your AAU account. An email will be sent with a link to reset your password. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it after some time.

I transferred to a new company and my login for AAU is with my old company email address. How do I transfer my account?

We currently do not undertake any requests to transfer/migrate the achievements or accomplishments from one account to another. Hence, we request you to download your certificates from the Accredible Platform.

We recommend that you add your personal email ID (as secondary email) in Accredible. This will ensure you always have access to the credentials you’ve earned, no matter where you’re working in the future.

I successfully completed a course. How can I share my achievement with my manager, human resources representative, or on social media?

Log into your AAU account and navigate to the transcripts tab on your learner dashboard. Here, you can view and download course completion letters for individual courses or a comprehensive transcript to share however you’d like.

Where can I find more learning resources?

Join our Pathfinder Community, to collaborate with other automation professionals, ask questions, share knowledge, and discuss best practices. In the Pathfinder Community, you can also find information blogs, updates on our products, developer challenges, and more. Plus, we have a dedicated forum for Automation Anywhere University if you have questions about our courses.

Although I have completed the course, it is not showing as completed.

This happens when the learners drag the completion bar forward and backward or skip some of the mandatory clicks or interactions of the course. To avoid this, learners are encouraged to carefully follow course and interactions in it. If the courses are not being marked completed even after taking the course multiple times, please write to us.

How do I enroll?

If you’re not yet registered with Automation Anywhere University, you must create an account in order to enroll in a course or learning trail. Start by visiting this page to enter your information and create an account. After creating an account, you will receive an email with a link to create your password. Once logged into your account, you can access the AAU learning dashboard to enroll in a course or learning trail.

If you’re already registered with Automation Anywhere University, simply log into your account to access your learning dashboard and enroll in a course or learning trail.

What types of training options are available for Automation + AI?

Automation Anywhere University offers free, online training. You can take courses individually, but we recommend following a learning trail so you can stack new skills as you progress. Our learning trails are structured in two ways:

Career Quests: These role-based learning trails will teach you new skills using the Automation Anywhere Platform no matter where you are in your career — just starting out or managing complex automations. 

Skill Boosters: These learning trails are focused on one skill area and will help you develop greater expertise.

Which course do I start with?

If you're new to intelligent automation, we recommend you start with one of our Start Phase Career Quests that aligns best with your role.

  • Automation Developer: You are a developer looking to help your organization harness the power of Automation + AI. You want to design and deploy software to automate processes and test your new skills with hands-on challenges.
  • Automation Lead: You lead an automation team. You want to set your automation program up for success by establishing a clear vision, goals, operating models, and strategies.
  • Citizen Developer: You are a business user — marketing analyst, HR manager, accounts manager, or other non-technical role. You want to create and run automations, and share these automated tasks with peers.

If you’ve experience in any of these roles, you can explore our Accelerate and Scale Phase Career Quests as well as Skill Boosters, which help you build expertise in one key skill area.

Can I start a course as soon as I enroll?

Once you create an AAU account, you can enroll in a free course or learning trail and start learning immediately.

Are there technical requirements for accessing the Automation Anywhere University online courses?

AAU online courses are accessible on most browsers and mobile devices. You can get a free account here.

How do I become a certified Automation + AI Professional?

Automation Anywhere offers three proprietary, industry-recognized professional Automation+AI certifications: Essential Certification, Advanced Certification and Certified Master RPA Professional (Automation 360). You can find more information about these three certifications and the process to get certified here

If you are a university student, you can acquire an Essential Certification, a much sought-after credential for those who have not yet graduated.

What is the format of the certification exams?

Essentials and Advanced certification exams are online multiple-choice exams with a time limit. Additionally, the Certified Master RPA Professional exam includes a bot development assessment following a passing result on the multiple-choice section. Specific details for each certification exam are as follows: 

1.Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced Professional - 2024 certification: 

Questions: 60 multiple-choice

Duration: 2 hours

Passing score: 80%

2. Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Professional (Automation 360) - 2023 certification: 

Questions: 50 multiple-choice

Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes

Passing score: 80% required to advance to the bot assessment

Bot development assessment: Create bots that can automate business processes based on the use cases provided. Note: Your submissions are validated, and results are provided online within a few minutes.

3. Automation Anywhere Certified Essentials Professional - 2024 certification: 

Questions: 40 multiple-choice

Duration: 60 minutes

Passing score: 80% required to advance to the bot assessment

In what languages are the certification exams available?

Automation Anywhere Certified Essentials Professional – 2024 and Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced Professional – 2024 is available in 4 languages i.e, English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese

Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Professional (Automation 360) – 2023 is available only in English.

How do I prepare for the certification exams?

To best prepare for the exams, visit our “Prepare for your certification” to view the prep learning trails that are available for each certification. We urge you to complete the recommended courses in the prep trails, acquire substantial hands-on practice with Automation 360, and read the relevant content in our Docs portal before attempting your certification exam.

How many attempts do I receive to pass the exam?

For each certification exam, you are provided with two attempts to score a passing grade on the multiple-choice question portion. For the Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Professional, you only have one attempt to complete the bot development assignment portion.

What is the exam retake policy?

If, after the allowed number of attempts, you are not able to achieve a passing result on the multiple-choice questions or the bot development assignment, you must wait 30 days before you can retake the exam. After 30 days has passed, a fee will be required to retake the exam.

How do I get my Automation Anywhere certificate after passing the assessment(s)?

Upon successfully passing an Automation Anywhere certification exam, you will receive your credentials in an email from Accredible, a third-party vendor that manages the official certification for Automation Anywhere University. Your credentials will include a digital version of the certification and associated badge, which you can easily share on social media platforms like LinkedIn.

How can I share my Automation Anywhere Certification credentials and information?

Once you receive an Automation Anywhere Certificate via email, you can download and share your certificate on social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, GitHub, etc., as well as list your achievement on your LinkedIn profile. We encourage our certified professionals to add Automation and AI as a "Skill" on their LinkedIn profiles to make themselves eligible to be endorsed by peers.

When does my certification expire?

Certifications are valid for two years from the date issued. The exact expiration date will be listed on your certificate.

How do I renew my certification?

You will need to take AAU’s renewal certification exam and can do so up to 45 days in advance of your certification’s expiration date. The renewal certification exams for both the Advanced and Master Certifications exams are a shorter version of the full certification exams, and the Master Certification exam requires only a single bot submission. For more information on renewal certifications, please reference our Renewal Certifications FAQ tab.

Why is my certification exam locked? How can I unlock it?

If your exam is locked, you have likely exhausted the allowed number of attempts without a passing score. To unlock the certification exam, you must wait 30 days from your last attempt before you can retake the exam.

To retake the Advanced certification, you will need to re-register and pay an $80 fee, which will entitle you to two additional attempts on the multiple-choice exam.

To retake the Master RPA Professional certification, you will need to re-register and pay a $130 fee, which will entitle you to two additional attempts on the multiple-choice exam and one additional attempt on the bot development assignment.

What is the next step after completing the Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced 2024 Assessment?

Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced certification is the intermediate level of certification for working professionals and a pre-requisite for Automation Anywhere Certified Master certification. With your Advanced certification, we encourage you to continue your learning journey to become an Automation Anywhere Certified Master Professional. How soon can I take the Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Professional (Automation 360) certification after completing the Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced Professional certification?

There is no required waiting period to take the Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Professional (Automation 360) certification, but we highly encourage you to acquire more hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere products before attempting the exam. You can review the requirements for the Automation Anywhere Certified Master certification to better understand what knowledge and skills are necessary to prepare you for the Master certification exam.

For the Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Professional certification, I have submitted my bots but have not yet received the results.

After submitting your bots, you will receive your exam results within only a few minutes. If you have not received your results even after five business days, please contact us at certifications@automationanywhere.com.

Note: If your first bot submission attempt did not pass, you must wait for 30 days before attempting another bot submission for the Automation Anywhere Certified Master. In addition, you will be required to pay a $130 fee to re-attempt the bot submission.

While trying to submit the bot assignments for the Automation Anywhere Certified Master, I received an error. What should I do?

If the error message stated, “Unable to retrieve the course information. Please try again in a few moments,” you have likely encountered a temporary issue where the auto-grader cannot connect to the learning management system. Please try to resubmit your bot assignment after some time has passed. If you still receive this error, please contact us at certifications@automationanywhere.com to rectify the issue.

If you received a “Gateway timeout” error after you uploaded your bots, please contact us at certifications@automationanywhere.com with your details so we can rectify the issue.

After I submitted the bot assignments for Automation Anywhere Certified Master, I received a message that my ID is banned for one year. What is the reason for this and what do I need to do?

Your bot submissions were flagged by the auto-grader as copied from another person/submission, and a human verified this flag. Because of this, you have been banned from retaking the Master Certification for one year. You will forfeit your fees (including future fees if you try to retake the exam within a year), and any certifications will be nullified. Please refer to the legal notices throughout the certification process.

How can I unlock other assessments other than certification?

How do I benefit from renewing my Automation Anywhere certifications?

The Automation Anywhere renewal certification exams enable you to renew your existing certifications before they become inactive. When renewing, you benefit by taking a shorter version of the certification exam and paying a reduced fee to keep your certification current and active for two more years. If you do not renew your certifications before expiration, you must take the full exam to receive a new active certification.

Am I eligible to take the Automation Anywhere renewal certification exam?

If your current certification expires within the next 45 days, you are eligible to take the Automation Anywhere renewal certification exam. To check your eligibility, follow these steps:

Sign into your Automation Anywhere University account and locate your certification.

Click the “Renew Certification” button. A pop-up window will provide information about your eligibility for the renewal certification.

How many attempts do I have for the Automation Anywhere renewal certification exam?

You are only allowed one attempt to complete the Advanced or Master certification renewal exam.

What is a digital badge and certificate?

The digital badge and certificate are online representations of your achievement. Automation Anywhere University digital badges are awarded upon successful completion of a Learning Trail. The digital certificate refers specifically to skills and knowledge-based automation building competencies on the Automation Anywhere platform.

Both badges and certificates are web-enabled credentials that contain verified information. Employers and third-parties can reference these credentials to evaluate an individual's competency with Automation Anywhere products and services.

What are the benefits of a digital badge and certificate?

The digital badge and certificate can be used to represent your skills and proficiency. They provide a straightforward, trustworthy, and manageable means to share your Automation + AI competencies online.

How does my credential get displayed as a digital badge?

Automation Anywhere has partnered with Accredible to leverage its credential standards and provide learners with digital assets to showcase their competencies. Accredible allows an individual to manage, share and embed credentials online.

What is Accredible?

Accredible is the third-party platform used by Automation Anywhere University to host official, verified digital credentials for our customers.

Is there a cost associated with the digital certificate?

Storing, managing, and sharing of Automation Anywhere digital badges and certificates is free for all registered Automation Anywhere University users.

Once I have qualified to earn a badge or certificate, do I need to request the badge, or will it be sent to me automatically?

All badges and certificates are issued automatically by Automation Anywhere via the Accredible platform. Badges and certificates are issued after the successful completion of the required assessment and will be emailed to you within 48 hours. You will receive an email from learning@automationanywhere.com at your registered email address with instructions for claiming your badge.

Can I easily share digital badges and certificates online?

Yes! You can share your Automation Anywhere badges and certifications on LinkedIn, GitHub, in emails, on personal websites, and on personal blogs. The certificate verification link (e.g., https://certificates.automationanywhere.com) allows your contacts to verify your credentials and profile on Accredible and provides you a way to authenticate your Automation Anywhere proficiency.

Can I download a credential as a PDF to print or share online?

Yes, once signed in to the Automation Anywhere page on Accredible.com, select your credential and download it by clicking 'Download PDF' in the Options section.

Note: Badges are shareable on social media but are not downloadable.

What if I don’t want my badge to be public?

You are in control of your information and can easily configure your privacy settings. Simply go to the Automation Anywhere page on Accredible. Once signed in, go to the credential page click on 'PUBLIC - Change Privacy' in the Options section to manage your credentials privacy settings.

I have not yet received my certificate/badge. How long does it take? Can someone send it to me?

Normal processing time can take up to 4 hours. Be sure to check your spam folder. If you have not yet received your badge or certificate within 4 hours, please complete this form to submit your information so that we may rectify the issue.

I am unable to download my badge/certificate. How do I get access to it?

If you have received notification that you have a badge and/or certification, sign into your Automation Anywhere Accredible profile to download it. If you still cannot download it, please complete this form to submit your information so that we can help you to download it.

My name is incorrect on the certificate. How do I have that changed and corrected?

Please sign into your Automation Anywhere Accredible account. Once you are signed in, you can submit a name change request.

FAQ - Mission Control
Who is eligible to participate in Pathfinder Mission Control?

If you are an Automation Anywhere customer or partner, you can access Pathfinder Mission Control today. This includes the Pathfinder Assessment, mission recommendations, and action plans.

How do I get access to Mission Control as a customer or partner?

If you’re a customer or partner, you have full access to Mission Control for free. After logging into your Pathfinder account using your corporate email, go to the Mission Control landing page. If you encounter an access error when you try to take the assessment or access missions, contact us for assistance.

How do I get started using the Mission Control assessment and missions?
  • To get started, go to the Mission Control landing page and take the assessment.
  • We recommend you screen share and complete the assessment live with your whole team for the most accurate results and a thought-provoking discussion.
  • When you click to start the assessment, you’ll be asked to log in using your A-People credentials (the same ones you use for Community or any other Automation Anywhere website).
  • After taking the assessment, you’ll get recommendations for a few missions to prioritize based on your biggest growth opportunities.
  • Select 1-2 missions that you want to focus on. Use the actions listed in the mission to create a 90-day plan of what you want to work on. The more specific, the better! Create a shared team spreadsheet with actions, due dates, owners, and find a cadence to review progress. If you get stuck, your CSM can help you find resources to keep moving on your mission!
Should I do the assessment with my team or on my own?

We recommend that your team complete the assessment together. Each person can have the assessment pulled up on their screen to talk through, so that you all have the results in your Pathfinder account.

Can I take the assessment multiple times?

Yes. After completing your initial missions, we recommend that your team take the assessment again to help you determine where to focus your growth effort

How do I access and share resources from Mission Control?

After you take the assessment, you’ll be able to access all the missions and resources. You can share the links with teammates. They’ll need to have a free Pathfinder account and have completed the assessment themselves in order to access all the missions.

How do I know which missions I should choose?

After taking the assessment, Mission Control recommends which missions you should focus on based on your team’s results. After reviewing the mission recommendations, you can choose which is best for your team to focus on.

How do I build my 90-day plan?

After selecting the mission(s) you want to focus on, Mission Control will provide you with how to complete the missions based on your current program stage: start, accelerate, or scale. After reviewing the actions in your stage, you can decide which actions you want to add to your 90-day plan. We recommend building your plan in the format that works for your team — in project management software, a spreadsheet, a simple text document, PowerPoint, or whatever will keep your team working together to make progress. Whatever method you choose, find a weekly meeting when you can consistently check in with each other about your mission progress.

How do I log into the community or create a new account?

How do I configure my profile?

📌 As a reminder when configuring your profile please keep in mind this is a professional community and all Pathfinder Community Guidelines must be followed.

  • Click your profile avatar in the upper right hand corner (next to the New Post button)
  • There are two options to access your profile settings:
    • Option 1 - Select Settings (bottom of the list) - this will get you there directly
    • Option 2 - Select My profile and then click the orange Edit Profile button under your profile avatar

How do I get support for an automation from Bot Store?

The Bot Store team doesn’t provide support for using specific automations, but you can get support from the automation developer or from our active community.

Look at the automation’s listing. If the right column “Support” section says Community Only please start a thread in the Developers Forum in the Pathfinder Community. Be sure to share the URL of the automation on Bot Store, along with any steps taken to reproduce the issue and any relevant screen shots.

If the “Support” section lists the developer or vendor details, they have offered to provide direct support for the automation. You can use the listed contact information to contact them. Again, be sure to share the URL of the automation on Bot Store, along with any steps taken to reproduce the issue and any relevant screen shots.

What security verifications were completed for automations listed on Bot Store?

All automations on Bot Store are verified at Level 1, malware scan. For details about the 4 progressive levels or security designation, please review our Bot Security Program.

What are the recommended standards for developing an automation for Bot Store?

How do I submit an automation to Bot Store?

Submitting an automation to Bot Store is easy. You’ll need to create an account, submit the automation from Control Room, share metadata about the automation, and complete your vendor profile.

Create an account: If you don’t already have a Bot Store account, you can create one by clicking the “Login” option in the header of Bot Store and following the prompts.

Submit your automation from Control Room: Ensure your build your automation with the Submission checklist in mind. Once your automation is ready, follow these documentation instructions to submit it.

Share metadata: After submitting the automation file from Control Room, go to Bot Store, log in, find the automation on your Submissions page, and fill in all the details about the automation. On this form, you will be asked to provide details of your automation, including:

  • description of your automation features, benefits, inputs, and outputs
  • screenshots and videos showcasing the value of your automation
  • a Readme file with the instructions to install, configure and run the automation

Create your vendor profile: After our Operations team receives your submission, they will reach out to you to create a Vendor Profile page if you do not already have one. Your Vendor Profile page gives you a platform to introduce your organization, showcase your expertise, and highlight your automations available in Bot Store.

After you submit the automation, the Operations team will review your submission to ensure that all the required information is accurate and that the automation meets the standards outlined. Once ready, we will publish the automation for you. If changes are needed, we will email you with details.

Why has my automation been moved to "Draft"?

If your automation submission does not pass our initial or subsequent reviews, we will reject the submission and move it to “Draft” status. You can still view the submission in your “Submissions” page.

Bot Store Operations will email you with the reasons for rejecting your automation and next steps to help you get through the approval process.

How long will it take for my automation to appear in Bot Store after I submit it?

We try to complete the review process within one week of submission. Delays may occur if there is inaccurate information in the metadata. We will communicate with you via email if we experience an issue.

How do I make changes to an automation that is already published?

If you need to change the information about an automation that is published on Bot Store, please contact us at botstore@automationanywhere.com. Include the subject "Vendor Bot Revision Request." Please provide specific details, including a link to the current automation’s Bot Store page and the updates needed.

What are the guidelines for ratings & reviews?

All reviews must be your honest interpretation of a specific automations in Bot Store. We do not allow profanity, spam, personal information, or inappropriate or illegal content in reviews.

All users are only allowed to submit one review per automations in Bot Store. We do not allow multiple reviews for a specific automations by one user account.

Can I review my own automations in Bot Store?

We do not allow authors to review their own automations, to help keep the reviews program fair and objective.

Why don’t I see my review posted?

We are currently accepting ratings and reviews for all automations on Bot Store. However, reviews will not be displayed for automation until we have a minimum number of reviews. Check back soon to see your review live!

Where do I challenge myself?

How do I get my certificate?

After you successfully complete a challenge, you can download a certificate to share. Grab and save the GUID after you complete the challenge. Go to our Certificate Download page and fill in your details to generate your certificate.

Who can use Bot Games?

Bot Games are free for anyone. You can complete all challenges in Automation Anywhere’s Community Edition (unless otherwise noted) or Automation 360 Enterprise.

How do I log into Bot Games?

Create a Pathfinder account by going to the Pathfinder home page, clicking Log In in the top right corner, and following the prompts to create your account. Then go to our challenges page to start a challenge.
